In my search to determine what it is one really needs to have a great office, I thought; why am I still looking for a complete list? Why not ask for some real, live, current input.
So here it is:
- What makes your office great?
- What could you live without?
- What is the next best thing to your electric typewriter (and no, the laptop or computer is not what I'm looking for here.)

When I was last in a "regular" office I really enjoyed most of the people I worked with. We still had office politics but since many of us had become true friends these were minimized.
Now that I work mostly alone the things I miss are the "water cooler chats" and the ability to ask for help to brainstorm projects.
