Good on Godin!

Even the big guys make mistakes.

And I'm happy they do because we can learn from them. I'm even happier when they share what they did, why they did and why it didn't work. It's admirable of them to let us learn from their mistakes.

Seth Godin did just that this morning on his blog. You can read it here.

There are a few social statements about the change in our world here as well which just goes to show you something cool to do a decade ago (or so) may not fly in today's world...so cue the toilet flush.

It's important to project (or hang with people that can) what the needs and desires of people will be. I really like Godin's reference to being the dumbest person in the room. How else do we learn without something to reach for or the humility to recognize we need to.

Thanks Seth! Now, I'm off to buy Tribes: We need you to lead us.
